I almost quit

Apparently my subconscious had other plans.

I’ll be honest with you. This summer I came *thisclose* to being done.

My partner said,

“no one reads blogs anymore, Lanae. You have to do videos.”

I said if that’s true, then I’d retire. As a one person business…the production, the directing, sets, backgrounds, editing... I imagine all the steps and the performance and the number of takes to get it “just right”? Nooooo. 🙈

Then I woke up from a dream that had already written, blocked, and art-directed an entire video series taking out most of that stuff.

My subconscious said, “That’s cute. You’re not done.”

So I’m back. And there’s something new coming.
